I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~ Robert Frost from the Road Not Taken
It’s not easy to tell which way to go. Often for leaders there is no right or wrong answer, just a best guess. We form a hypothesis and move from there, with the best information we have. Like the poet we are often on the path on our own, figuring out by ourselves. I think for me the better choice of path is always the one walked with others. Like minds and hearts, or differing thoughts and ideologies, but still together. The journey of collaboration and co-creation always feels like a better one for me.
So I’ll walk with others, and that makes all the difference
